Domestic Terms of Service
Effective January 29, 2018:
The QSC terms of service listed below applies to service repair work performed by QSC in the United States. QSC’s full warranty statement can be found at www.qsc.com/support/warranty-statement/. By choosing QSC for equipment repair, the customer agrees to the following terms:
Personal Property and User Settings:
QSC will restore repaired products back to its factory default state when the work is completed. QSC is not responsible for the loss of personal property, data, or user settings on the equipment.
Packaging for Return to QSC for Repair:
All returned products must be returned to QSC in a well-protected shipping container with adequate packaging material. QSC is not responsible for transit damages caused by poor packaging or mishandling of the equipment by a freight carrier.
For in-warranty repairs, QSC will ship the repaired product to the customer with outbound freight prepaid by QSC. The prepaid shipping method is restricted to “Ground” shipment within Domestic U.S. and U.S. Territories only. Customer is responsible for inbound freight expense to return the product to QSC.
Customer is responsible for both inbound and outbound freight expenses for all out-of-warranty repairs, or if QSC’s repair estimate is declined.

Non-Warranty - EOL

QSC’s labor rate is $100.00 per hour with a 1-hour minimum charge. The labor rate is prorated thereafter for every half an hour (30 minutes). Repair fees below $350.00 will be repaired without further customer approval.
End-of-Life (EOL) Products:
Products that have reached the status of End-of-Life (EOL) are subject to a minimum repair rate of $500.00. An Estimate will be provided on repairs exceeding the repair minimum. QSC Labor Rates will apply. Such repairs are performed on a “Best Effort” basis, as service parts may be limited. QSC no longer services equipment that is 25 years old or older.
Some End-of-Life (EOL) product may be eligible for a sales rebate with the purchase of new qualified QSC product. Please click in the link below for further details.

An evaluation fee of $65.00 will be charged on current production items in the case where no problem was found, or the repair estimate has been declined.
An evaluation fee of $300.00 will be charged on product that is End-of-Life (EOL) in the case where no problem was found, or the repair estimate has been declined.
Expedited service option is $65.00 per unit returned. This service offers next business day evaluation of the equipment BUT DOES NOT guarantee that repair work will be completed by the next business.
Repair Turnaround Times:
All lead times provided by QSC are solely estimates. The actual repair timeframe may vary depending on the finding(s) from initial evaluation and the availability of the service part(s).
Payment, in the form of Credit Card, must be submitted when the repair work is completed. Personal checks will not be accepted.
Repaired equipment not claimed after thirty (30) days will be considered abandoned. In such a case, QSC reserves the right to scrap the abandoned equipment at our discretion.
Warranty of QSC Repair Work:
Repairs performed by QSC will be warranted for ninety (90) days.
