Derby County Football Club claims to have the loudest and best sounding stadium in the UK, having installed redundant Q-SYS™ Core 1100 processors, along with QSC CXD 4.3Q amplifiers and QSC Q-SYS I/O Frame processors. Replacing the sound system in any stadium is no simple job, and often comes with a big budget attached. However, Derby County had keen ambitions and the investment paid off, with the Championship Club now boasting a sound system one would normally associate with a rock concert, rather than a football match. Yale University is known for graduating great minds, thanks to the value it places on knowledge and innovation. It prioritizes those same values to its facilities and technologies, so when looking for a versatile AV solution, their IT team turned to the QSC Q-SYS™ Core 110f. They currently use the solution as a music and paging system for audio in a multi-zoned café. Users run the Q-SYS app on an iPad, walking around the space and leveling the audio to a preferred level. Clearwing Systems Integration recently provided a complete audio and video package for Ark Encounter. Featuring a full scale Noah’s Ark spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide and 51 feet high, this 7-story feat of engineering was one of the biggest system installs in Clearwing history. The first phase of the project required Clearwing to distribute audio to nearly 200 zones park wide.
