Yokohama Stadium Hits a Home Run with the Q-SYS Audio, Video and Control Ecosystem
Having first opened its gates in 1978, Yokohama Stadium in Japan is currently home field for the DeNA BayStars baseball team. It also plays host to concerts for popular artists from around the world, and will be one of the primary baseball venues for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. When the time came to overhaul the stadium’s AV system, Yokohama Stadium chose the Q-SYS Ecosystem from QSC to handle networked audio and control processing throughout. Yokohama Stadium chose the Q-SYS Ecosystem because of its open, IT-friendly architecture and its third-party integration capabilities. The audio processing/distribution and software-based control is handled by a redundant pair of Q-SYS Core 510i Integrated processors. Third-party Dante™-enabled audio mixers and amplifiers were also deployed throughout the stadium and integrated with Q-SYS using the Q-SYS CDN64 I/O card. …

Cory’s Audio Visual Selects Q-SYS to Deliver a Front-Row Experience at Luxury Sports Bar
Chalk is a premier, luxury sports bar that combines a taste-provoking food and drink menu with an AV experience that puts their guests “at the game”. To help them deliver on this immersive audio experience, they deployed the Q-SYS Ecosystem, including processing and amplification, as well as a complementary QSC loudspeaker portfolio. Partnering with Cory’s Audio Visual, an Oklahoma City-based integrator, the team deployed a Q-SYS Core 110f Unified processor to handle the networked audio processing throughout the restaurant. There are seven different audio zones, including three dining areas, two bars, an entryway and restrooms, with eighteen different DirecTV boxes acting as the main audio sources. CXD-Q Series amplifiers provide the power for the Q-SYS system. These native network amplifiers allow for configuration, management and monitoring. This helps expedite…

Large Seattle Non-Profit Deploys the Q‑SYS Audio, Video & Control Ecosystem
With their sights set on upgrading their AV system, one of the largest non-profit organizations in Seattle looked to QSC and the Q-SYS Ecosystem to provide networked audio, video and control throughout their conference center. Working alongside system integrator McKinstry, the conference center required a networked AV solution that would be compatible with their digital audio network and offered additional flexibility for their space. The conference center install consisted of three separate meeting spaces, each equipped with a Q-SYS Core 510i Integrated Processor that handles audio and control processing for each individual room, plus an additional Q-SYS Core 1100 Enterprise Processor that handles processing when the rooms are combined. Audio is distributed throughout the facility via Dante™ network. “One reason we chose Q-SYS was because of its ability to scale…

New Jersey State House Elects the Q-SYS Ecosystem for Networked Audio and Control
Built in 1790, the New Jersey State House is the third-oldest state house in continuous legislative use in the United States. With a 30 year old card-based AV system in need of an upgrade, QSC enlisted the Q-SYS Ecosystem to provide software-based audio and control throughout the State Senate and Assembly Chambers. System integrator JD Sound & Video chose the Q-SYS Ecosystem because it offers software-based audio, video and control in a single processor. Both the Assembly and Senate chambers are equipped with a Q-SYS Core 510i Integrated Processor, which handles audio processing and distribution, as well as control capabilities throughout each room. “With a historical building, the less hardware the better,” explains Joe DiSabatino, President of JD Sound & Video. “Because Q-SYS features audio and control in a single processor, we were able to deploy more…

Q-SYS Platform and Visionary Solutions Deliver Integration in AV Paradise
From the waterpark and pool to the tiki bars and restaurants, there’s no shortage of ways to spend an afternoon at “Margaritaville at Lanier Islands”, the Jimmy Buffet-themed entertainment theme park for the whole family. With construction nearly completed, it was time to implement an AV solution that would serve the entire park, and QSC was prepared for the challenge with the Q-SYS Platform. The network was designed around a Q-SYS Core 110f Unified Processor, which handles audio processing and distribution and third-party control over video routing for the entire park. System integrator dB Integrations deployed AV encoders and decoders from Visionary Solutions along with Q-SYS Control plugins that enable seamless integration of those devices within Q-SYS. Most notably from a control perspective, Q-SYS controls third-party video distribution devices from Visionary…

Opus Night Club in Banglore Equipped with QSC
QSC recently completed one of its first WideLine 10 Series line array permanent installs in India, along with the Q-SYS™ Platform, at a new Opus club in Banglore. Opus is one of the largest spaces in this segment with a mezzanine floor and an outdoor brunch area, which is part of the club. Opus was very specific with their requirements and had a clear vision. They needed a system that could accommodate both live performances and DJ events, which meant the solution needed to provide additional headroom and flexibility for any visiting mix engineer to easily adjust the system, but with enough controls to protect the system. To handle the complex DSP processing requirements, SD Audio selected the Q-SYS Platform. Not only did it provide the flexibility to select and change DSP requirements almost instantly, it allowed them to easily route audio over a standard gigabit…
