Q-SYS Collaboration

The Q-SYS AV Bridging feature license expands the functionality of native Q-SYS devices, allowing users to connect their device directly via USB to easily integrate Q-SYS audio and camera feeds for remote meetings.

Meetings Simplified: The Q-SYS AV Bridging feature license streamlines how video collaboration users connect their PCs to the room’s video and audio system by enabling simple plug-and-play USB connectivity to Q-SYS from the NV-21-HU network video endpoint or TSC-G3 Series network touchscreens. This simple, network-first solution removes the need for unreliable USB extenders and other workarounds to integrate audio and video signals into UC platforms.

Software-based Benefits: Like the rest of the Q-SYS License portfolio, the Q-SYS AV Bridging feature license allows you to tailor your Q-SYS system’s feature set based on the unique needs of each space. Whether you’re choosing the right features before installation or adding capabilities as business needs evolve, these licenses expand functionality at the software level. This removes the need for additional hardware and saves on configuration, installation, and supporting infrastructure.

Simple Deployment: Activation for the Q-SYS AV Bridging license is easy. Each device license can be deployed remotely using Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager, a cloud-based monitoring and management platform for Q-SYS. (Additional offline/local installation methods are also available.)

Q.  Which Q-SYS Devices support the AV Bridging Feature License (Part #: SLQBR-P)?
The AV Bridging feature license can be applied to NV-21-HU, TSC-70-G3, and TSC-101-G3.

Q. What version of Q-SYS Designer supports the AV Bridging feature license?
A. The AV Bridging feature license is supported for TSC Series Gen 3 touchscreen controllers in Q-SYS Designer Software v9.7, and supported for the NV-21-HU in v9.8.1

Q.  What Q-SYS Designer components require the AV Bridging feature license?
A.  The 2x2 USB Soundcard, 1x1 Speakerphone, HID Conferencing Controller, and Video Bridging components will require the AV Bridging feature license.

Q.  How many AV Bridging feature licenses do I need for my design?
A.  One Q-SYS AV Bridging feature license is required per device with audio and/or video bridging enabled. Example: If seven TSCs and four NV-21-HU are in a design and two TSCs and two NV-21-HU units have AV bridging enabled, four Q-SYS AV Bridging feature licenses are required.
