AD-C6T-HC The in-ceiling speaker is a 2-way system designed for high-ceiling applications that shall incorporate a 6.5-inch professional-grade coaxial transducer with a common-motor compression driver. The speaker is of the blind mount type, with an PC+ABS baffle and a stamped steel back can. The system shall meet the following performance criteria: coverage angle of 75 degrees (3 - 10kHz); frequency response of 45 Hz to 20 kHz +0/-10 dB, measured on axis; sensitivity of 90 dB SPL in half space at 1 meter with an input of 4 V RMS; maximum continuous output of 110 dB SPL; maximum peak output of 116 dB SPL on axis at 1 meter; power handling of 120 watts for 8 hours with an IEC noise signal; recommended amplifier power of 180 watts; nominal impedance of 16 ohms. The loudspeaker shall have a switchable low-distortion, wide-bandwidth laminated core transformer with taps for 60, 30, 15, and 7.5 watts at 70V and 60, 30, and 15 watts at 100V. The system shall be switchable between 16Ω (bypass) and constant-voltage operation. The speaker bezel and grille shall have a white (RAL 6010) paintable finish with UV inhibitors to prevent discoloration. The loudspeakers are boxed in pairs, including C-rings and matching rails for suspended ceiling applications. The loudspeaker shall meet or exceed requirements in UL1480A. The wiring and bobbin for the switchable transformer shall be listed under UL1007 and UL4820L, respectively. The baffle shall meet UL94 flammability ratings and shall comply with IEC60849/EN60849 safety standards. The loudspeaker's overall diameter shall be 13.4-in (34.0 cm), with a cutout diameter of 12.0-in (30.5cm), and a mounting depth of 12.3-in (31.3 cm). The loudspeaker shall weigh no more than 18.9 lbs. (8.58 kg).
