AD-DWL.SUB The Direct Weather Landscape subwoofer is a low-frequency system that shall incorporate two 5.25-inch subwoofers with a weather resistant cone and rubber surround. The form factor is a bollard design PP enclosure with 20% fiberglass. The system shall meet the following performance criteria: omnidirectional radiation; frequency response of 48 Hz to 200 Hz +0/-10 dB; sensitivity of 84 dB SPL in half space at 1 meter with an input of 4 V RMS; maximum continuous output of 106 dB SPL; maximum peak output of 112 dB SPL at 1 meter; power handling of 150 watts for 2 hours with an IEC noise signal; recommended amplifier power of 250 watts; nominal impedance of 16 ohms. The loudspeaker shall have a switchable low-distortion, wide-bandwidth laminated core transformer with taps for 100, 50, 25, and 12.5 watts at 70V and 100, 50, and 25 watts at 100V. The system shall be switchable between 16Ω (bypass) and constant-voltage operation. The bollard design shall have a green (RAL 6020) paintable finish with UV inhibitors to prevent discoloration. The loudspeaker shall have a pre-installed collar mount for surface mounting conditions. For buried in earth applications, the AD-DWL.BASE shall be used. Wiring connections shall be made through the base accessory mount. The loudspeaker shall meet or exceed requirements in UL1480A. The loudspeaker shall meet or exceed IEC 60529, IP-55 splash rating for ingress protection. The switchable transformer components shall be listed under UL333734, UL239508 and others. The enclosure shall meet UL94-V0 flammability ratings and shall comply with the UL746C F1 rating for outdoor use. The loudspeaker's enclosure shall be 30.16-in (76.6 cm) high, 6.46-in (16.4 cm) wide, 6.46-in (16.4 cm) long. The loudspeaker shall weigh no more than 23.9 lbs (10.8 kg).
