The AI Accelerator shall facilitate anonymized individual identification and tracking by integrating audio and video data streams to create a comprehensive understanding of individuals' locations within a room and to identify who is speaking. The software shall operate on a dedicated x86 CPU appliance equipped with a high-performance GPU. When integrated with Q-SYS NC Series cameras, the accelerator shall automate the translation of human movements and/or speech into pan-tilt-zoom camera coordinates in real time.

The camera automation appliance shall support the configuration of audio and video trigger zones and exclusion zones. When a person is detected visually or audibly in a trigger zone, the system shall automatically begin tracking the person or capture the person with a static camera shot. When the tracked person enters an exclusion zone, the system shall move the camera to a fallback position. When a non-tracked person enters an exclusion zone, the system shall ignore that individual.

The camera automation appliance shall support static view zones for in-room objects such as a whiteboard. When a person enters the static view zone, the individual shall be detected via computer vision AI, and the system shall recall a cropped/zoomed camera shot of that zone. When a person leaves the static view zone, the system shall automatically continue tracking the individual.

The camera automation appliance shall support tracking multiple presenters or speakers. When more than one presenter is detected using computer vision in the tracking area, the system shall switch to a camera capturing the entire tracking zone area. As soon as the system detects only one presenter in the tracking zone, it shall switch to the tracking camera and follow the presenter’s movements.

The camera automation appliance shall support automated switching between cameras to capture the active speaker using audio-based triggering and directional information from microphones supported by the Q-SYS VisionSuite software.

The camera automation appliance shall support reconfiguration to adapt to changes in room layout and usage.

The camera tracking appliance shall be rack mountable.

The camera automation appliance shall support over-the-air updates when prompted by the user.

The camera automation appliance shall support control integration with the Q-SYS platform.

The camera automation appliance shall be the Q-SYS VisionSuite AI Accelerator.
