RoomSuite Modular System The RoomSuite Modular System (RMS) shall consist of two primary components: the RMP-100 Processor and QIO-VEN4 Expander. RMS shall be compatible with the following Q-SYS peripherals: NM-T1 microphone, NL-C4 ceiling speaker, NL-P4 pendant speaker, NL-SB42 soundbar, NC-90 camera, NC-12x80 camera, NC-20x60 camera, TSC-101-G3 touch panel, and TSC-70-G3 touch panel. RMS shall support one receive channel and one transmit channel of Dante audio (1x). RMS shall support LED mute sync with the following 3rd party Dante microphones: Audio-Technica ATND1061, Sennheiser TCC 2, TCC M, Shure MXA901, MXA902, MXA920, and Yamaha RM-CG. RMS shall require the following minimum system configuration: 1x RMP-100, 1x QIO-VEN4, 1x NL loudspeaker, 1x microphone. RMS shall support the following maximum number of devices: 3x QIO-VEN4 Expanders, 4x microphones with no more than one Dante microphone, 6x loudspeakers with no more than 4x NL-C4 or NL-P4 loudspeakers, 2x NL-SB42 loudspeakers, 2x cameras, and 2x touch panel controllers. The processor shall have the following front panel controls and indicators: Unit ID button, ID green LED, and Power On blue LED. The processor shall have the following back panel connectors: one 54V DC, 4.7A, 254 W DC input, eight-port RJ-45 1000 Mbps PoE switch providing 212W total power across all ports; Port 1 shall be Class 8 PSE for use with QIO-VEN4 expander; Ports 2-8 shall be Class 4 PSE, USB 3.1 A Host port, USB C 3.1 Device port, AUX A RJ45 (non-PoE), AUX B RJ45 (non-PoE), 2x HDMI 2.0 Inputs supporting HDCP 2.2 and HDCP 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.0 Outputs supporting HDCP 2.2 and HDCP 1.4, 2x5 +24 VDC GPIO/RS232 Euro block connector, one coaxial antenna connection (reserved for future use), and one hardware factory reset button. The expander shall have the following front panel controls and indicators: Unit ID button, ID green LED, and Power On blue LED. The expander shall include the following back panel connectors: 1x LAN/PoE In RJ45 1000 Mbps, 802.3bt PD Type 4 Class 8 connector for connection to RMP-100 processor, four-port RJ-45 1000 Mbps PoE switching providing 51 W total power across all ports, 1x USB C 3.2 Gen 1x1 supporting DisplayPort Alt-Mode (DP 1.4 Sink)(No power delivery shall be provided on the USB C port), 1x USB A USB 3.0 Host port, 1x HDMI 2.0 Input supporting HDCP 2.3 and HDCP 1.4, 1x 3.5mm TRRS connector (for future use), and one hardware factory reset button. The processor shall support audio-video bridging for audio and camera via its USB-C connector and for displaying screen content via its HDMI Input(s). Only HDMI Input 1 shall support audio. The expander shall support DisplayPort Alt mode allowing for single cable audio-video bridging and for displaying screen content via its USB-C connection. The expander shall also support displaying screen content with audio via its HDMI Input. RMS shall support audio DSP, including Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC), Noise Reduction (NR), Gain, Equalization (EQ), Gate, Compressor, and Automatic microphone mixing. RMS shall support an integrated web-based software configuration tool hosted on the processor and accessible via the network for device discovery, real-time configuration, control, monitoring, supervision, and management. RMS shall also be manageable via Q-SYS Reflect Cloud management portal. RMS shall support BYOD and UC-platform specific operating modes. RMS shall support display control via CEC, Ethernet, and RS-232 compatible displays, or via GPIO connected motion sensor devices. RMS shall support user configurable touch screen controller settings, including custom color schemes and background images. RMS shall perform all of its real-time audio, video, and control processing using Intel(r) processors running a purpose built, real-time Linux operating system developed by QSC, LLC. The processor, expander, and A/V peripherals shall operate on a integrated gigabit standard Ethernet network without the need for additional network infrastructure. The system shall support 802.1x authentication on AUX A and B networks. The system shall be called the Q-SYS RoomSuite Modular System.
