The beamforming microphone is a low-profile tabletop conferencing microphone that shall deliver four independent beams for 360° of coverage, optimized for a pickup range of 1 to 3 m. The beamforming microphone shall be powered via PoE Type 1 Class 2 and shall transmit Q-LAN formatted network audio. The beamforming microphone shall have a light ring with software-selectable color options (including off) for both mute and unmute states. It shall include four touch buttons for mute, one touch switch for call accept/decline and one touch button that can be used as a custom control trigger with the Q-SYS Control platform. The bottom of the microphone shall include an ID button for identifying the device within Q-SYS Designer Software and a reset button for restoring the device to factory settings. The beamforming microphone shall include proximity sensing to allow a user to mute or automate additional meeting room controls by placing a hand over the device without physically touching any surfaces on the microphone. The beamforming microphone shall include hardware for permanent mounting on a tabletop or other surface. It shall include a 3 m slim type category cable. The beamforming microphone shall weigh 350 g with a diameter of 107 mm and a maximum height of 28 mm. The frequency response shall be 100 Hz to 16 KHz +/- 3 dB and the dynamic range shall be 95 dB. The beamforming microphone shall be the QSC Q-SYS NM-T1.
